The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (Sadag) has partnered with the Department of Social Development in launching a toll-free substance abuse helpline in an effort to increase access to help, support and appropriate treatment for substance users.
The toll-free helpline number is 0800 121314, while SMS's can also be sent to 32312.

24-hour toll-free hotline for information and referrals on emergency contraception. A public-private partnership between the provincial health department, the University of Stellenbosch, the World Population Foundation, and private clinic Medi-Challenge.
Marie Stopes clinics offer safe abortions, family planning services including birth control, pregnancy tests, male and female sterilisation, HIV testing and ante-natal services. Fees are charged according to client's income bracket. Marie Stopes clinics are day clinics only, and as such do not provide overnight facilities.
